Hi all,
I am planing to go get the CT200h this weekend. I have driven my frds CT200h on local and love it so much, gonna go to the dealer on this weekend to see if I can get a good deal on that.

Here is my little concern, how does the CT200h performs on freeway?
If i drive like 80mph, does it shake? is it stable enough?
I understand the hybrid car HP will be less, the more I care about is the safety side.

Could anyone give me some update on this, I will be very much appreciate that~!!!

And also, I live in SoCal SGV area, does anyone get any decent deal recently? Please let me know!!!!

It's fine on the freeway at that speed. I've been driving one the past 2 weeks as a loaner car, thinking about getting one myself in the future. It's not bad at all at 80mph, and with the help of the electric motor, passing cars is pretty easy too on the highway too. I myself didn't experience any shakes or feel uncomfortable on the highway though...it was smooth for me!

I'd recommend Longo Lexus if you're in the SGV area!

Also, ask the dealer to let you take it on the highway to test drive because your serious about buying it and want to check it out yourself.
They should let you easy!

It definitely performs well on the freeway, but the gas mileage will goes down considerably driving 80. If I were driving freeway most of the time at 80 mph average, I probably would not consider this car.

i agree w/ the above. i regularly drive those freeway speeds and the CT is smooth and stable as can be. it feels solid and safe. sometimes loud if you are going up a slight incline or passing, but that is to be expected.

that said, MPG does suffer considerably. i do about 80% freeway driving at high speeds , NO traffic and probably only get about 36-37 mpg from that portion of the driving. the other 20% i get better MPG so my average is usually in the 38's-39's at each fill up.

I have been driving a 2012 ct200h around as a loaner.....pretty nice....love the gas mileage, I filled up after driving 340 miles and it only took about 9 gallons....If only it wasn't a hatchback i might have considered it at one point.

Very comfortable car on the freeway. No problem getting up to speed and it holds the road well both on straight bumpy roads and on curves.

As stated the ct is no problem at speed on the fwy. It is very solid, safe and secure. I just switch to sport mode fore the extra torque when I have to pass or merge fast.

Yeah sport mode definitely helps, and its pretty much essential when going up a big hill

I had the CT as a loaner, it feels at lot like civic, which is good enough for daily commute.

I have driven the Ct since March of last year. For a hybrid, the car handles very well. The car is so stable and handles high speeds very well. On freeways, it is rock solid up to 90 mph. I do agree with other posts that mpg will suffer going that fast. With such a small motor, the car would be so slow and lack torque if it did not have the electric motor. The car will accelerate and pass other cars going up an incline without much problems. Placing the car in sport mode will make the car even more spirited.

Base MSRP is $29,120

Factoring in delivery fees and usual extras, i'm sure it will be around 29k at least.

27-28k for a base model. dont get ripped off. I paid for a base premium 29000 so the base should be well below that price

Soils as a rock at freeway speeds as well as above 85. Wind noise is loud though...
