LED Headlights vs. HIDs

Only if you have LEDs, otherwise HIDs win hands-down ...the old self-fulfilling prophesy
I have HIDs( CT200h with DDM conversion) on three cars. LEDs on one , and utlra white halogen on the other.
Halogens are okay, LEDs are very good, but HIDs are sexy, awesome and completely take the cake!

It is really hard to see a difference side-by-side. My 55W HIDs really light up the road though

the funny thing about HID's is i got a ticket for them. i had 15k though.. Technically any aftermarket headlight is not "legal" if they arent DOT stamped, thats what the DOT told me. dosent stop me though

Wow, they make 15K HID lights? I'm not surprised, isn't that virtually all blue, like police lights?

Hid kit
So whats the cost for switching from halogens to HID's on ct 200. And whats the best place to get them installed(like a auto tintint and sound garage?), im pretty sure that the lexus dealer doesnt install those, and whats the best brand. Anyone?

Labour: $20-$50
Seems like Kensun brand HID kits work the best in our cars, stay away from DDM as they suck and sometimes do not fire up in auto mode.
I would suggest you just find a DIY for the HID kit, it is very easy to do yourself.
