I finally figured out how to play music over the car speakers! In the cars system, go to blue tooth settings, not phone settings. Select recognize MP3 player. On the phone in blue tooth settings everything should already be set up for you.

You can stream Pandora wirelessly this way too, among other streaming services like Google Music and Amazon Music Services. The possibilities are endless!
