thats in duluth that just hit the market. so many cars out there. plenty on the 15k range 30k

i wouldnt buy the warranty. i'd check for a 13 with under 50k so factory warratny applies and call it a day.

Assuming your looking for used/LCertified:

http://www.lexus.com/lcertified/search-inventory

Do not enter a zip code or range in your search. Should bring all certified vehicles listed for sale. Sort by lowest price first.

I searched for about 3 weeks. I am in Dallas, car I purchased is in NY. I can tell you, there are a ton of these cars in Dallas area, but they bring a premium for some reason. With shipping, the car I purchased is still cheaper than I could find withing driving distance.

You have to be ready to pull the trigger as soon as they drop the price. Ours was dropped drastically. I checked each morning, and each evening. Even had my wife checking during the day. Once ours was reduced, I called sales rep, had him walk the car and send me pictures of any potential issues. Within 20 minutes I had a deposit on it.

Lexus financing is .9% through the end of them month. Run an amortization figure on the loan amount. You can save $500 or more with that rate alone. Credit has to be above 720 to be considered.

For us it was patience and just constant shopping. We also only had a few non-negotiables in regards to options, colors, distance, etc. That allowed us to really expand our search and consider a large pool of cars from most of the country.

Hope this helps.

all the 2013 models im finding with the average of 30k miles are posted at 24k+, so the carmax deal doesn't seem so bad.

yeah, im not getting the warranty.

honestly, i might just go with the 14k mile model. it'll be roughly 23500 all said and done. looking at CPO and such, ever car under 15k miles is roughly $22k.

at the same time, the silver one with 23k miles just needs new tires, which is $300. priced at 21k+ 1500 tax tag title.

Those sound like some decent deals, I just picked up a '13 w/8k miles for $25k was in mint condt. cpo , unl mile warranty. Prem/Navv pkg. Couldn't be happier, some of the other dealers out west on the island are undercutting costs but there are some flaws and they are not as friendly.

yup. Clean title also. It did have 96k miles tho. But these hybrids go 400k. Trick is, is to negotiate from the trade in/wholesale price up, not what they are asking for down. Wholesale on the base 450h was 22k, they were asking 32k. The beauty of it was that my car was not a base, it was the premium luxury edition that sold for $20,000 more than base when new. It's also in the rare Meteor Blue Mica. Only 30 GS's sold in that color. Clean bill of health from Lexus of Portland. 45mins of negotiations got me the deal....I had cash.

I just bought a 2014 CT Premium F-Sport in Ultrasonic Blue (black NuLuxe interior) with Nav and 37k miles. Clean Carfax (no reported accidents, flood, etc) and complete service history at a local Lexus dealer (except for the 35k service which essentially are checks and a tire rotation). It looks like the previous owner leased the car for 3 years with an in service date of March 2014, so it still has a little bit of factory warranty left. It included all books, accessories (carpet mats, trunk mat, cargo net, wheel lock, and leather key cases), and both keys (though one key blade was missing).

The only issues I found were that the previous owner had a dog and it smelled a little like dog inside which the dealer masked with a strong cleaner (yikes!). The carpet looked a little worn from probably abrasive cleaning, but fortunately the carpet mats hide most of that well. I also found a bunch over overspray on the passenger side of the vehicle and under close inspection looks like the rear bumper, both rear quarter panels, both passenger side doors, and the passenger side A-pillar were resprayed. Unfortunately the color doesn't quite match under scrutiny, but looks good otherwise. All the panels look original (as all the VIN stickers are in the proper places and are in perfect condition). There were a couple of small dents and a few scratches, but nothing major. Curb rash on all wheels, but no bends or leaks. The F-Sport steering wheel had a patch of leather that wore through. I have no idea how they did that. They replaced the front tires with Firestone FR710's and the rears were cheapo NTB Velozzos, but were also new.

I'm assuming that the number or resprayed body panels prevented this from being a CPO/L-Certified, but I got a great deal on it. $17,600, or $19,100 out the door. Not too shabby, and I'm willing to put up with some of the issues for a 2.5 year old CT F-Sport in the color we loved for half off essentially.
