So, what you're saying is that the spare storage well is too small for a full-size tire? I would only buy this car if I could swap out the donut spare for a real tire.

I helped a gentleman change a flat on his new Accord today, he hit a pothole and the tire went immediately flat. His original tire would not fit into the spare storage spot, he had to take all the luggage that was in the trunk and put it in the back seat. Then he had to go immediately and get the gashed tire replaced.

Gaaaad I hate those tires...

Im pretty sure the storage does now allow for the full because Lexus likes to put the plastic liners in the trunk wall so that you get those little cubbies. THrough efficient space packaging, they are going to utilize every single spot for cubby hole and batteries

I always keep a 32 gallon trash bag stored with the donut spare. If you'll pardon the pun, it spares you and your car's leather interior from road grime and brake dust on the wheel.
