This coming months (February) Popular Mechanix has a little article on the CT200H and said it was smaller then the Prius. Anyone that went to the shows and saw them that can say if that is true? From what I see in the pictures they appear to be about the same overall size.

Yes that is correct. The CT is smaller than the Prius, hence the better driving dynamics.

The CT200 (170.1") is just under 2" shorter in length than a Toyota Matrix (171.9").
9" shorter than a Corolla.
Now that's small.

Hmmm, interesting. Hopefully the cargo area is about the same length as the Prius, as I need that much to carry some cases I have. If it's not that maybe a deal breaker. Guess I'll know in a few weeks when the dealers start to get them in.

The Prius is Height/Width/Length 58.7/68.7/175.6 CT200h is 56.7/69.5/170.1 Prius Luggage capacity (cu. ft.) 21.6 CT200h 32.3 Max. (No reference to back seat up or down) Could the extra room be the rear shape hatch versus squarish??? These specs are from Toyota Lexus websites.

Its much smaller, I've driven both. Prius hatch is larger as well. Now mind you I am pretty new to this hatchback stuff , not an expert in their room/ease of use etc. If I recall the CT seats did lay down flat. To me there is room inside but I wasn't sure if the hatch opening was large enough, it slopes down due to style.

I can say the CT and A3 were pretty similar in space to me.
