Default Ct200h or prius c?

Which one would you recommend? I hear the prius gets much better mpg than the lexus. It will be used for food delivery work as my full time job and road trips. My budget is up to 20k. I read on the lexus forum that the ct200h mpg is kind of all over the place. Mpg is my number one decision making factor.

The other prius models get higher mpg than both the C and the CT. Why a prius C?

I get 36-37 mpg right now and drive without regard to what mpg I'm getting...as in I just drive it and tend to have a heavy foot. Mostly highway on a 35 min commute, 15 minutes of that in traffic. 40-43 mpg is very obtainable if I'm more conscious of mpg. .

Any prius I think gets better mpg, even the C based a quick search.

Get a Prius V if you're delivering. CT is good too.

Extremely hard no on Prius C.

What you might gain in fuel economy (even if true) with a Prius C, is not worth it for the loss of safety, security, satisfaction, enjoyment etc. Prius C is a rolling garbage bin.

I have had my CT for 7 years or so, drove a Prius for 3 weeks as a loaner, and owned a Prius C before the CT for 1.5 years (140k miles from brand new in that time). The Prius C is a nice little car for small trips, but it's loud inside due to very little sound insulation, and not the greatest suspension so it doesn't ride great. It is fun and light to toss around town, but I would recommend against it for highway driving. I gave it up for that exact reason. It just gets to be too much for long-distance driving.

The way I drive, I get around 45-50 MPG in my CT, about 53 MPG in the Prius I had for 3 weeks, and about 60 MPG in the Prius C, FYI.
