Power windows

How do I test my power windows motor before I put the new door on to the car? When the motor is inside the door panel

take off the door panel. keep the motor/window switch hooked up and test it with the door panel off with the car on.

yep just connect the wires to it and hit the switch.

can probably bench test it too w 12v leads but doing it on the car is easy enough
