I have a 2014 F-sport, I was looking for a cheap steering wheel for a project. If I buy a 2012 steering wheel (with controls) will this fit/work with the airbag? thanks in advance

It looks to me that the airbag cover is a bit smaller in the 2014+ if you carefully inspect them side to side. It would probably fit, but maybe not perfectly.

Another option is to move the controls and airbag from your 2014 steering wheel if it is just the leather that you are altering. I know the actual steering wheel is the same on both. I'm also not sure if the controls from the 2011 are compatible with the 2014+ as the layout is different.

 

yes I am just looking for the wheel portion itself, the controls and airbag would be transfered

 

I can't say with 100% accuracy but I am almost certain it will. I know DCTMS makes a steering wheel upgrade and it is the same for all ct200h. They just put the picture of the controls and sometimes the airbag so it looks better, but they said it doesn't mater what set up you have when ordering the wheel.
