Default Accessory Mode from On Position

I've searched the CT forum but haven't been able to find anything on this. Is there a way to go from on (engine running) to accessory mode without having to go through OFF first? I found a forum regarding the GS that says if you leave the car in N or D and press Power, it skips OFF and goes right to ACC, but this is not the case with the 2012 CT (at least not for mine). Often times, I turn the engine off but remain in the car so I'd like to go straight to ACC without first having to power down - I don't like having the nav close and reopen as I switch from off to ACC.

Thanks

I dont have a CT but have you tried double clicking the Start/Stop Button with the car in P and foot off the brakes. Do it fast - like double clicking a mouse. This is how my G37 works (and perfectly) but my IS does not always and I find myself pressing the Start/Stop to stop the engine and then pressing once again without the brakes for ACC mode.

Having to tap the button does not annoy me, but it is not as seamless as in my G - music never stops playing.

I don't believe it is possible. The POWER switch is wired to go only from OFF --> ACC --> READY (if brake pedal is pressed and held) ---> OFF.

There has to be a way to do it, but in the mean time just park, put it in EV mode, and turn off the heat/AC.
