LOL this video is so funny because the presenters are from Lexus and they are trying to make a balanced video and they are trying really hard! :p

i thought the presentation was awkward indeed, lol. they're both nice cars, but in my opinion, at the same time they're kind of different because of the motor/drivetrain. the appointments and amenities are both nice though each offering their own positives and negatives depending on individual taste.

I am due to test drive a TDI to compare. I am unsure about Audi reliability in the A3 but it seems like a nice car.

there is probably not a better car to compare...

but keep in mind this was done by individual lexus dealer, hence the "awkwardness" - this is not national-tv type of commercial.

and customers have voted - 9 vs 1 for CT200h :-)

I believe this video was supposed to be for internal Lexus dealer use as a sales tool.

The two guys in the video are Charles Hubbard and Bob Allen of Lexus College. They are long time Lexus College instructors. The emcee in the video happens to be a Lexus Product Specialist who goes to many of the major auto shows.

We actually were just about to buy the A3 TDI but after driving the lexus we decided to go with the 200h...Audi's reliability had us on the fence...

Congratulations on purchasing the CT. Is that Lake Mead in the background? I'll be heading to Vegas in a couple of weeks...

I do like Audi as well but can't go wrong with a Lexus.
