You'll get sound but not video with the adapter. Depending on which unit you get. It might be ok. But if you get one that needs video your in the same boat as me.

We can't do video with iPhone 5 in this car. But to do audio you can go with SL3i or MML units.

SL3i will work with lightening adapter to connect iPhone 5 and 2012 iPod models.
