Default Ok

Yes this has been answered so many times... but I'll say it anyway. The cost I believe is $550. I was seriously interested in getting one of these but over 500 bucks? Its just way too much. Unfortunately the wood steering wheels like in the 93-onward LS's and some ES's are exactly the same yet have a different airbag mounting bracket so they dont fit. Its a damned shame.

$550 holy cow thats ridiclous you can get one from american stitches for $450 or so.

I also know of a place that ships them out to ITALY has them HAND stichted and its $480 the downfall is the 6-8 week turnaround because it goes to ITALY.

I'll keep searching! I had an OEM Lexus ES300 wood/leather wheel I sold this winter for $325 :eek1" becuase it was the rarest "black leather/wood" $550 Worst case I'll buy one and then re-wrap the leather to my color or by a LS400 wheel and put the wood in my wheel (custom yes)

correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe that this wood wheel group buy is thru american stitches. even though it may be possible, i find it hard to believe that the group buy price would be more expensive than getting an individual wheel done. can someone confirm this?

Default Steering wheel I know...

At last report....

This whole exercise is through American Stitch's. Many good compliments read so far on their work.
Only Club price option is the wood/leather replacement.
Club price is about $120 less than if you went direct ($500 direct)
Direct price for simple leather re-wrap is about $250.

All do not include shipping or provide for a loaner steering wheel while it's out for about 4 weeks.

As to the shift ****.... American Stitch's will re-wrap the leather for $99. I'm still waiting to find out if there is a club price for this work and if there is a leather/wood option for this also (if so, what that price would be).

So the leather rewraping of the steering wheel is 250... and the shift **** is 99 dollars? for any lexus?

Default Any lexus?

I dunno. What I can say is my inquire directly to American Stitch's regarding the leather only re-wrap and shift **** (prior to my discovering the Club connection) was specificly for sc300/400.

However, I'd guess the price would be pretty much the same as the wheel/**** areas to recover are pretty much the same across the Lexus line.

Best, e-mail American Stitch's and ask directly. But, it's really hard to pass up on the Club deal.
