Yes this has been done awhile ago... Go to Sewell parts online and try to get it there... It would not be as cheap as this price though, just type in clublexus for promo code and get a better discount....

This promotion remains to be valid. We still have a few dozen in stock with the blue illumination. And just to reiterate, it's only the 2006 base model IS (no sport pkg or luxury pkg) will require the additional wiring (just two wires). The sill plates also work with the IS-F and the same applies.

Just joined club lexus today and purchased the sills!!!!
Darrel... in post #50 when you said "the same applies" for the IS-F... did you mean special wiring is required to install the sills for the IS-F?
