I am going with a shop that was recommended by fellow boards members in the regional section. So word of mouth, even though by internet, started me off. When I called them, they were very familiar with Vais installs. Some other places I called either didn't know about Vais, or didn't even do many Ipod adapters! I don't know if that's enough, but I'll "take a chance" on them. I hope it all works out. I am even considering having the dealer do it. We'll see.

Has This Happened to You?
O.K. Installed it in the wifies IS350 today. Drove it around for about an hour. It worked flawlessly. Came home and played with it some more in the garage. Then it kinda hick-upped and I lost all control of all the buttons. It just kept playing but I had no controll what so ever.
VaisTech, does it matter if I programmed it to emulate both CD and MP3. Or should I just program it to emulate CD? Just trying to figure out whats causing this to happen. Other than that, I love this thing!

Yes, what about the AVIC units? Are you going to make some sort of GB on those? I want something to have a rear-view camera, and have an input for an MP3 player. I don't want to be always stuck to the IPod with this unit, especially since I have the Sansa, which is even nicer. Please let me know.

Charge the ipod?
Does the Vaistech device charge the unit as well? Or is a cigarette adapter required?
Also, how do I tell what version my ipod is and if it is new enough to work with the Vaistech unit? I have a white 40G device with a B&W screen.

Which unit should I order. I went to order the SLI today. I specified 2004, then RX330, but the stereo is not present in the drop down. It says standard radio etc..., ML radio, Navigation, then Navi with ML. Am I to assume that when it says just "Navigation" it means Navigation with Non ML stereo?
And, is today, the 13th the last day to order, or can I order tomorrow, the 14th as well.

Just ordered an 80 GB iPod and the SLI because of the apparently seamless integration with my car.
I was considering purchasing the Zune but once I read up on the Vaistech and saw this group buy I made a complete 180... This looks like it's going to be a nice addition.
