Likely not. There's been half a dozen attempts to get me to make the skirts, and when it comes time to cough up the cash no one is to be found.

Unfortunately it has been a very common problem on these forums . Many would say "I like this , I like that , I wish you have it or I wish it is for sale and I will buy it" then when it is available, you never see them around again.
Your experience Irving simply confirms this. One reason why manufacturers don't want to take a risk in developing something for a certain car or platform when there are no sure takers.
