Default RCF ECU tune by RR-Racing!!!

So we have been hard at work mapping the RCF ECU in order to introduce a tune for NA guys, and naturally to support our up coming Supercharger Kit which we are working on right now and track testing in October.

The results:

HP: 5-6hp peak power increase
Torque: 7wtq peak, with up to 17wtq increase in the mid-range

So we realize the gains were not nearly as good as on the ISF, and those of you who were hoping for +20hp are probably a bit disappointed, as we are. We are still developing this tune, but it certainly seems like the RCF ECU is better at optimizing power compared to the ISF. Having said that, the gains, particularly the mid-range bump in torque, are definitely something that can be felt and appreciated.

Right now, we are developing and testing large MAF body cold air intake which we hope will further improve mid range and top end power. We will report the results here and keep everyone updated.

Price: Introductory price of $400

As we have done with the ISF tune, the $400 may be applied towards purchase of our RCF supercharger system (valid for introductory period only).

We expect 520-530whp on pump gas. More with methanol or race gas tunes.

Thanks for the reply. Also what supporting mods do you require to achieve those numbers?

These numbers were achieved with PPE equal length headers and exhaust. We have not dyno'd or tested a non-header equiped car yet.

We are working on a large 92mm MAF high flow cold air TUNED intake right now, and will report the results as soon as we have the verdict.

There is a company in Italy that needs to get it done. It might take them another month, or 6 months, we cannot predict exactly when the OBD functionality will be available.

I will say that once we release an OBD tune, anyone who gets tuned now will get a full credit towards the OBD device.

Congrats RR Racing! and happy motoring to all RCF owners! At least you guys didn't have to wait almost 8 years like us with the ISF.

Haha...it is like Christmas lately yet I can't get any presents right now

Looking forward to the release of supercharger and tune. Glad you guys are on the east coast and nearby

Also, with the PPE CEL delete, I assume it passes emissions still, correct?

Great to hear that the RC-F ECU is now tunable. Congrats on this achievement!

Will there be plans to bump the redline up another 400-600 RPMs like on the IS-F tune (in case there's a usable powerband beyond the stock redline)?

Awesome news. Are you raising the rev limiter on the RCF to 7600 - 7800 rpm? In the ISF's case, it was raised from 6800 rpm to 7200 rpm. RCF dynos show, it still is making close to 90% of its peak torque when it hits the rev limiter so my guess is, raising the rev limiter will produce a broader powerband with more usable torque in the 7400 - 7800 rpm range. Plus, it would be amazing to hear the RCF howl like an E9X M3.

Will this ECU Tune and supercharger work on GS F as well? I am assuming ECU is the same.
