I'm confused. According to product info at HAYWARD & SCOTT product page, you would want this exhaust with the X-PIPE to eliminate any unwanted drone

Correct, especially if you are running headers like I am now.

The X pipe does reduce drone for sure. Be interesting to see how it affects power levels on my next dyno run. May swap it out for the straight pipe section and re-dyno to see how it does....

If you aren't running headers, should be fine in terms of minimal drone.
