Nice! Please report back with how the F feels and drives after the tune! Def something I'll do this year at some point. Had to give it time for others to "time test" it first, lol.

Nice, I was about to put my obd device up for sale as I have an extra one in my garage.

^^ Damn - I would have snatched that up!

I will report back on the butt dyno results once I install and put some miles on the tune.

I'm about to pull the trigger on the ECU upgrade (via OBD), but just wanted to check real quick and make sure there is no forum discount code that I can apply?

Also, I'm a bone-stock 2008 F in the Orange County (CA) area. I'd be willing to dyno my car before and after the tune if there is a shop nearby that wants to help out.

Looking forward to some HP gains

Dyno at EAS. Many of us in SoCal did it there. That way we have more data to compare. With FBO we were only able to get 10whp with the tune. Would be interested to see what gains a stock one would get

Definitely do the Dyno for the good of the forum! Many of us are in the same position. Good gains will = another round of big sales for RR for those of us won't FBO.

Do it

Updating for those that are not FBO with my butt dyno results - my mods are X-force varex exhaust and HPS intake elbow, and drop in filter, stock headers/cats and RR tune.

I have driven the car 3 times and put about 30 miles on it since the install:

First drive Immediately after install - better throttle response, better mid range torque, better drivability overall. Car feels smoother, and exhaust note sounds slightly different to me. Overall a noticeable, but not dramatic change. I was disappointed.

Second drive - 10 miles later - All of the above + a little more power on the high end - I was still not overly impressed.

Third drive - 20 miles later - All of the above + mid-rage is much stronger and high end power has increased a bit more - it is feeling really good now.

Most of my driving has been highway, with a few (4-5) good WOT runs, I think the ECU is slowly adding timing, I hope to see some more improvement. The increased power becomes apparent every time I drive the car, slight bump each drive.
