Are there still plans to try to apply a "tune' to the TCU? I feel like this transmission could be absolutely fantastic with a massaging of even just some of the control parameters. It was a night and day difference on the 6hp auto in my 135i after i reflashed the TCU, even wound up getting the transmission to hold more power (mainly a problem on the diesel 6 cylinder BMWs) after the reflash due to better converter lockup, and better torque handle parameters.

I've bought the OBD unit and have managed to read my KCLV Over the phone or tablet. It's much cheaper than going the Techstream route.

that was 6 months ago. the obd fusion pids came out like 3 months after I posted that. OBD fusion is much easier than hooking up the laptop and datalogging vs bluetooth and a phone.

lol sry mate didn't realize the date difference, but wanted to clarify it as I've seen a few people asking on other threads.

Totally agree the OBD Fusion has saved me from carrying around a heavy laptop and trying to figure our what my KCLV was, it's been a life saver.

Well so I far I've only driven my car today, it feels good I don't think you would be able to feel 20 or so extra horses. I will get back out and drive my car a little harder.
