We developed these a while back and with the advent of more track enthused IS-F's and RCF's we decided to make a product for those interested. These were initially tested on the N1 Racing IS250 that we campaigned at the 25hrs of Thunderhill. This was alongside Lexus corporate in the CCSR making the final test of the RC-F's 2UR motor and is an extreme test environment to say the least. We are putting them out for preorder and we can build them on demand or if there is adequate interest we can have the cups made in a production environment. We have been testing these on our IS-F with our new 15" front brake kit and it provides a nice improvement over our already proven progressive support bushing options.

First, we refined the Rear LCA mount for the IS RC and GS with a progressive polyurethane mount from SuperPro for performance street driving and tire saving. Now we release our uncompromised track performance solution that has been tested in the 25hr endurance race at Thunderhill on the N1 Racing IS250 Lexus factory sponsored car. This is the same race Lexus did final testing on the UR engine used in the RC-F. This system provides precise control under braking and acceleration and is especially designed for use with the extreme loads of R-comp tires and larger brakes like our 15" front BBK. With complete fore and aft rigidity, this zero deflection mount is a must for all track going cars looking to improve driver skill and reaction times while also allowing caster offset for enhanced steer in control.

ZDS: Zero Deflection System
-Solidly mounts the front LCA in compression and rebound under heavy loading.
-Allows caster offset adjustment via spacers for sharper steering initiation. Couple with our #1 bushings to reduce stress on the #1 arm mount.

-Massive FK Bearing Precision 3P spherical bearings with PTFE liners.

What is the anticipated service life if the car is dual purpose, and what is the inspection interval?

We have customer with these same bearings on IS and GS applications in the 50K mile use so far with no replacement yet and just periodic dry lube application (every 10K)

For street driving our progressive 90 duro will provide better grip and modulation for daily driving. On the track with extra sticky tires and more sensitive brakes these provide instant response and feedback. I think some people have over reacted on the small loading flexion of our bushings during driving, this is completely intentional for the amount of available grip in street tires and in the ability to modulate braking in street conditions. The conical profile of the SuperPro bushings allow a gradual progressive resistance, rather than a complete dead end, keeping the load transitioning and making street tires work better. Very similar to a spring rate on a damper, as the loads go up the bushing takes more force. The bearing holds the arm in absolute position and in conjunction with our front LCA #1 bushing, the arm can support the higher loads of the R comp tires and heavy brakes to reduce the amount of time you need to spend in a braking event. Think of it as a mount that can keep up with the faster transient responses required in track driving and allow the shock and spring to be more effective at the same time.

So in the end it comes down to vehicle setup. In street tire trim we were able to apply near full force on the 90 duro bushings and let go of the wheel with no noticeable toe steering or wander. That tells me that they do their job exceptionally well. As we migrated everything joint to either spherical or polyurethane and stepped up tire and brake size, the demands on the suspension increased. This is just our way of normalizing the precision we have in the back with the front for track setup and ultimate performance, eliminating any deflection in the system.

We should have production back on these in a few more weeks. First units have already shipped that we machined in house.
