We can only know what file is in the car once the customer has hooked the OBD device to his ECU. At this point we probably have about 85% of all versions of IS/RC files, so in the next 1 month we will probably reach 100%.

As for 2017 cars, at this time they can only be bench flashed, not remotely. We went as far as purchasing a new 2017 ECU (not cheap) and sending it out to the firmware developers in Italy to figure it out, so we are trying very hard to support the 2017 folks.

thanks to everyone who ordered the tune,

Rafi

Club,

Status update: I got my tune on 7 May and loaded it. I've only driven it for about 50 miles so far and what I have noticed is that the acceleration to higher speeds is very, very smooth.

Thanks,

Fingers007

Hi Raffi
So regarding the kit, what type of blower have your guys retrofitted into the is350?

Also what is the price to preorder/retail price as I read your not doing a group buy
it was actually very hard to find this forum
I thought you guys weren't gonna work on the is350
what type on intercooler are you using
And the blow off valve are running it recirculated or to atmosphere
some more information on the kit would be nice
100whp is good number but would like to know more

I ran my vehicle on the butt dyno and all I can say is that I smile now whenever I punch the gas pedal.

Blower is a Rotrex c38-81 with air/air intercooler front mounted. Increase in hp for base kit is at about 100hp. We will announce pricing and take pre-orders end of this month.

How about some pictures? Some videos of this thing running. Feed the beast we'd love to see this working even if we can't get our hands on it yet.

bump bump

Second that.

Love to see you side by side a stock car.

What modifications do you currently have. Is it just stock + RR Tune?
How is your gas mileage vs before.
how is your low end acceleration feeling vs before.

Just placed my order for the tune...I drive a RC300 AWD so looking forward to the extra go. Right now you can definitely tell at what point the car is impended by the ECU so looking forward to a smooth pull all the way through.

How so?

When do you feel the ecu kicking in to detune the engine. High revs? Does it feel like driving in eco mode in your other lexus IS?
I'm curious to know where you feel it slowing you down.

Prior I had a '14 IS350 and '15 GS350 so I know how the engine feels when you romp on the gas. The 300 feels good at the start but as you get to higher rpms you can tell the ECU cuts it off. You can see this happening in the RR graph. I circled it in red:

If you have never driven the 350 I would suggest you go test drive one. You will not feel that dip I am referring to. The reason I went with the 300 was I got a great deal on a leftover '16. This flash will get back to to a 350ish engine for $550 bucks. Again there is no mod out there for the 300s that will gain you as much hp and torque for the money as this tune mod. I have seen enough feedback from users and have a great deal of confidence in RR Tuning based on the ISF/RCF crowd that I am confident I will be very happy with this purchase.
