No problem. The South OC meets (a few years back) were previously held on Thursday nights, and I'd like to keep that tradition going if possible.

A few years is an understatement. Most of the original group moved out of the area and have upgraded cars. I can only think of 3 of us that still have a Lexus, and we all have 1st gen SC as our project cars.

Are you guys going to continue the tradition of keeping it in Irvine/Tustin area?

Coming from under a rock over here...

Wow, is this meet being resurrected? I've had three other cars since I sold the IS250, no Lexus anymore. Maybe that can change in the coming year?

we used to had it on Thursday , but lately we do it on Saturday nite still drive Lexus since 2003 here

The Village @ Tustin Legacy
2178-2446 Edinger Ave, Tustin, CA 92782

Please:
- Park in the center section of the shopping center and as out of the way as possible so as not to take up spaces for other patrons
- Support the business in the shopping center - Dunkin Donuts, Yogurtland, Pizza Press, Chipotle, etc.
- Please pick up after yourself

... and DON'T:
- Hoon upon arriving, during, or while leaving (e.g. rev your engine, do burn-/peel-outs, drive recklessly, play music obnoxiously loud)
- Litter - please pick up after yourself
- Attract unnecessary attention to yourself and/or the meet

If you can't behave like a mature adult, please stay home instead of possibly ruining it for everyone there.

For this first one, yes. But let's have a conversation off-line at the meet about this. The OC GTG could use more meet-friendly locations.

When I checked the weather this morning there was 50% chance of rain Thursday night. You might want to consider playing it by ear this week or rescheduling.

Seriously, it sucks when one person ruins the meet for everyone else and makes for less places to hold car meets.

Sure enough, rain is in the forecast for Thursday PM *and* almost all of next week.

If by tomorrow night the forecast for Thursday night stays the same, then the OC GTG will have to wait until weather permits.
