i used to go to California tint on Rosemead Blvd but they're always very busy, are there other recommended taint shops in that area?

g5 tint shop. yelp has plenty of good reviews, but they've got shops in alhambra and pasadena. i got my g37 tinted w/ pinnacle formula one at the pasadena location and it was top notch work at a very clean location. i'll be returning in a week or so to have my new RC350 tinted. only downside is they're a bit pricier than others, but totally worth it in my book.

I got my IS tinted at G5 Alhambra last month. Their Pasadena location doesn't have the 3M tint that I wanted. Cindy was the one who helped me and she was very professional and detail oriented. Even though I already picked the films, she still took her time and explained every brand/type of films they offered. All I can say is their customer service and work are top notch as well.

What I like about G5 is they are appointment only, my time slot is guaranteed and I got my car back in less than 2 hours as promised. I went to California Tint years ago, they are first come first serve and you have no idea how long you have to wait. G5's workmanship definitely much better than CT.

I got mine done at Pro Tint on Las Tunas and Rosemead. They do some good work. $250 for 3M all around except front windshield and moonroof.

not a fluke. they're really good. if you want 3m, go to alhambra. if you want pinnacle, go to pasadena. other than that, both carry the same films.

i have to redo my fronts the rears were done at tint pros in hb but they r way pricey 500+

different brands. Afaik, 3m crystalline is considered to be the best and one of the most expensive. Pinnacle formula one has been around for a while and is considered to be one of the better ceramic tints.

different films have different shades. One film can have a blue hue to it when reflected while others can gave a more charcoal. Ive heard of shades of amber in a film too.

Paid ~$550 for pinnacle formula one all around and llumar air blue on the windows. The "full car" is 5 windows so itll be all the windows on a coupe or the back windows on a sedan.

Ask for a quote on yelp. Ive gotten quotes back from Ricky at g5 in like 5 mins

wow that's pretty expensive LOL, i remember i got my previous '09 IS350 tinted at California for about $200 5 years ago, forgot which kind of films i picked.

got my new rc tinted at g5 this past weekend... and as usual, work was top notch. you really can't go wrong w/ these guys.
