Does anyone know how to check status on DMV Legacy Plates orders? Ordered 3 months ago & havent hear a thing from them. Thanks!

After 2 months and 2 weeks of wating, I called the DMV main line and they would not contact the DMV office that I chose to pick it up from unless its pass 3 months. I ended up getting my postcard in the mail in 2 months and 3 weeks. So if you ordered yours over 3 months ago, go ahead and call the DMV.

I re-configured mine 06-21-16 and got a mail post dated 09-14-16 ready for pick up. I just picked it up today when I had time.

call 800-777-0133 & ask to speak to technican. just called today, 40min wait time but the operator was super nice & told me my late july order shoukd be ready by thanksgiving & to call back if i havent received postcard.

It took exactly 3 months to the date (92 days to be exact) for my plates to arrive at the DMV office I requested. Hope that helps anyone ordering them in the future!

Yes they are back logged they said. I believe mine was a little over 3 months.
