Exclamation Dealer or Independent Near Long Beach for PPI

Hi,

It looks like I'll be buying a LS460 from a Long Beach (non-Lexus) dealer, contingent in part on a pre-purchase inspection. The nearest Lexus dealer is Cerritos Lexus, but they've quite a few negative service teviews on Yelp. I'd appreciate any recommendations from nearby shops or dealers who have Lexus-certified mechanics and can perform a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Even things like recognizing bodywork and repainting are important, as well as mechanical and condition inspections.

I need to get this done first thing next week. I'm out of the area, so I'd have the Long Beach dealer take the car to the shop. I'm guessing they don't want to drive 100 miles on my behalf.

I'd appreciate any thought about this. Thanks!

I Agree^^

I just got my car done being Recalled @ Lexus of Westminster Service. Great people ! they are professional and friendly and can pretty much talk to them easily. Process was quick and simple. I recommend everyone in the SoCaL area to go Westminster of Lexus. Heck they do Famous Car Meet's and have LFA's before at there Lot.

Did you do your PPI at Lexus of Westminster? How did it go? I'm looking at a LX 470 tomorrow in Westminster and thinking about doing a PPI with Lexus of Westminster if the car checks out. Thanks.

Hi, I just saw your message. (The e-mail notification for this subscribed thread seems to have been delayed.) Yes, Lexus of Westminster performed my PPI, and I thought they did a great job for not just the mechanical inspection, but reporting on cosmetic issues, too. The service adviser was kind enough to text me pictures of the areas of concern and was available by phone for several follow-up questions I had.

Thanks for the reply and information! The LX I checked out in Westminster wasn't as nice as I thought it'd be. Nice LS btw! Was considering a LS as well but I think the LX fits better for our needs plus I'm a Land Cruiser guy.
