Default lowering spring labor costs?

Have a 2010 Lexus GS 350 AWD, recently just purchased the tanabe nf210 lowering springs based on a lot of reading throughout the forum. Not wanting too much of a drop while still maintaining some ride quality. I just picked up a set of 19" Vossens that are next… my dilemma is finding a shop down near the San Fernando/LA County area willing to put the springs on. Ive came across two spots over the last few weeks, one shop said they would do it for $600 which would include an alignment. The other said $570 no alignment… really trying to gauge the challenge in this job verse the cost, does this seem fair? …or is this something i really should just try and do on my own? Also I understand wobble/vibration to be possible but however with less aggressive drops and having an alignment down afterwards some posts I've read had positive outcomes with the nf210s… any help is appreciated (or even if you know of a shop in SoCal you would recommend). Thanks!!

Rates I've come across in the past to install springs and shocks are $200-$350. Alignment $75-$125.

Yeah springs are harder to install then could, much harder. So usually it is around what RA40 said, 200-300 for a good shop + alignment cost, which should be 50-75

that's insane

we charge 200 for spring installs ( depending on the vehicle and what else the client wants installed as well) but that's the general cost, and our partner company charges 80 for a full laser alignment on a Ferrari build in lift.

You can hit up MidnightGarage in South El Monte, they do multiple air installs for reasonable price. So springs should be easy for them!

I highly recommend 168 Motoring!!
Just got my RS-R Super Downs installed on my 2014 Lexus IS350 for $125!!
Kevin was super professional and installation time was super quick!!

I told my brother about it and he brought his GS350 in. They packaged Tanabe springs and installation for a great price!!

I'm planning on buying wheels them as well, just got to save up some dough. Kevin really helped me understand the options since I'm still a bit of a n00b when it comes to cars.

Give Kevin @ 168 Motoring a call!
