Heavy Rain in SoCal - Auto Rain Sensing Wipers
I'm really diggin' the rain sensing wipers, my first experience. I like how the wipers get faster as the rain comes down harder, then stops when it's clear.
I just wish this car can order me a pizza too.
Maybe in 2015?

It was a trip for me the first time it went off also. Sometimes I forget to turn it off after washing the car and a slight sprinkle can set it off leaving the swip marks where as it could have dried up on it's own and not leave that ugly swipe marks.

i'm digging my transmission automatically shifting, my first experience as well. I like how when I need to pass a car urgently, it shifts down on its own, and when I'm done passing, it shifts back to the highest gear, which is usually 8.
Maybe someday it will figure out what torrents to download for me at home. For sure by 2015.

Haha...It's a nice feature to have. I like having my wipers a little faster than normal though, just because that's my style so it doesn't help me be any less neurotic.

The auto mode is suspended when the Driver's door is open so they do not splash in an un-Lexus-like manner!

I keep my auto-sensing wipers off until it rains. The reason is that the slightest bit of moisture (dew, etc) turns them on and ruins a perfectly clean windshield work ugly streaks.
When it rains, I put it in automatic mode and then it’s adjusts the wipe speed accordingly.
