Default Lexus key cutting and programming!

Two weeks ago I went to get my tires flipped and the kid who pulls the cars around at the tire shop apparently broke my key right from the base... smh

So I went on ebay and ordered this flip out case

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Uncut-flip-folding-3-BUTTONS-remote-key-FOB-case-shell-for-Lexus-ES-GS-RX-/190881853445?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ALexus&hash=item2c7171f005
Once I had the case I need to figure out a way to have the key portion cut, the dealer wanted 150 so I called around to see who else I could find.

Found these guys and they did it for 45 bucks, and the keys work perfectly. It took them less than 5 minutes and the key works perfectly.

Does he take phone/mail orders?

My Lexus dealer wants $45 for each key. Sewell wants $39 for each key plus $26 for standard shipping. I'd love to be able to get two keys cut for about $40 total.

I found a place in Pasadena that does it for $25. I believe it was called Good Lock & Key, they do mobile services as well.

not sure if they do it by mail order, i would doubt it.

I've got 2. I used to use Chino Lock and Security but they recently raised their prices from $20-25/key to 30/key. Still not bad. They don't offer any programming IIRC. Bring your own blanks.

I've sent a couple friends recently to B&B Lock and Security, $25/key to cut only, $80 to cut/program (you can totally program yourself if you have a '98+ Lexus.) I've only had people take their own blanks but they may be able to source you one.

There's a guy on the corner of Euclid and Westminster in the plaza that cut two of my keys for my GS before. I think it was called Tin Locksmith and it's just a tiny booth. He only charged me $30 to cut two keys. But his usual rate is $20 each.

I too purchased the switch blade for my gs3. Any recommendations within a 50 mile radius from Valencia/San Fernando valley? I'm still searching for a transponder then reprogramming. Many places I've checked gave me ridiculous quotes
