Unhappy Hit and Run and need some options...

hey guys need some opinions. Some douchebag did a hit and run on my car while the car was parked. All i know is that it was a white truck when I parked behind it. But besides the point that I don't have much evidence to get the insurance taking care of this..... I need some options for how to getting this hideous ding fixed.

Some paint is gone, bumper ripped a bit on the square part where the trailer hitch hit it. It will def be noticeable even if I pushed the dented part forward.

So.... any shops? and any ideas how much it would be to fix?

located in 91011 area and also los angeles area as well. some light to this matter would be great. Thanks guys!

If you have full coverage which I'm pretty sure you do, your insurance will take care of it. You'll just be responsible for the deductible (hopefully you don't have a high deductible)...
I'm sure of this info cuz it happened to me & my insurance took care of it.

A -really- good shop can fix the torn bumper but the easier and cleaner way is to replace it. A guy backed into mine same way. Fortunately he was so he left a note. Get some estimates and see what your insurance will do.

All you have to do is call your insurance company and tell them exactly what happened - someone hit you, you know where/how it happened, but have no information on the other driver. You will have to pay your deductible though, but your insurance rates will not go up for a hit and run (not your fault). Hopefully your deductible is just $500 or less. Then all you have to do is select a shop, drop your car off and insurance will take care of it.

You can always take it to a body shop for an estimate first too (Platinum VIP and Longo Collision are 2 recommended places about 30 mins from you) but judging from those pics, its going to be over $500 as a body shop is almost surely going to replace the bumper and repaint.

If I had to pay out of pocket for mine, it would have been $1,300. Hopefully you didn't take a $1K deductible. If you opted to pay yourself, going for a bumper from a wrecking yard with fresh paint will save you some $.
