Default SoCal - Free Exhaust

Just caught wind of this on Craigslist. DNA motoring is creating a copy of the M2 Exhaust and are looking for test-fitting cars. Anyone that wants a free exhaust, jump on this! Should be very similar to the M2 at a lower price.

Aren't the M2 (Tanabe replica) exhausts already selling for $150-$200? How much cheaper can it get?

Even the M2 is up to $300+ on eBay now.

I guess they decided to jump in on the game and resell an exhaust at the $150-200 price point. I'm assuming this will one will be made using thinner metal and thin welds.

They're definitely capitalizing on the fact that M2 exhausts are more expensive. It's filling a niche that was left behind by the M2 exhaust.

Well if what OP is saying is true that they are trying to make a replica M2, then yeh because the M2 is a replica of the Tanabe already haha.

But i guess a replica of the M2 could be just considered another Tanabe replica...

Unhappy

Wouldn't be surprised if all the replicas are coming out of the same manufacturer in China...

It's very easy to slap a label on a plain box and call it the ABC or DEF or XYX Axle Back exhaust..

I just wanted to see how it sounds. Wouldn't keep it lol. I love my exhaust too much to replace it with a rep of a rep. Probably would have sold it within a few days haha...
