Unfortunately this happens more often than not, at least is just a toll road ticket and not a hit'n'run-multiple tickets in multiple cities and ppi (last vehicle I sold).
that exactly what i'm thinking. He might use my car to carry drugs, weapons......etc....and all of his **** fall on me. Is there anyway to force the buyer to transfer the title to his name ?
I would be more worried if there are witnesses who can i.d. you at the scene. Otherwise, drop the liability release to the DMV as soon as you can and enjoy shopping for a next ride.

same thing happen to me. sold my car and i got 2 toll road tickets sent to me. didnt do a thing since i release liability with the dmv. he will have to pay the parking tickets when he register the car.
