Simple Wheel Werks...
Anyone done business with these guys? I wanted to get my rims re-barreled and re-finished. I was wondering what is the usual price range and the wait time. Any info would be useful, BTW, If they are legit, I will be shipping my rims from Hawaii to Stanton since no one on the island would even consider re-barreling a 3 piece rim.

Rebarreling is $$ I got my rims re-barreled 19s 9.5 to 10.5 and I was getting my centercaps fixed, refinish the lips and fixing the faces and it was around 1500. Just call or email them to get a quote. It all depends on the sizes. I was at their shop the other day and snapped some pics.

Legit business but why aren't they shops over there willing to rebarrel? Shipping is going to be costly.
And that Manaray MS-5 was mine. They repaired 2 bends, polished all faces/lips, and powdercoated rivets. Total was 550 I think...

Sorry for grave diggin but I wanted to know who did business with Paolo personally. How long did it take for you to have your rims polished/ powder coated/ re-barrel? He had my rims for over 2 months. I keep calling but he sometimes pick up and most of the times he doesnt. Is this normal for him to do this? He told me my rims are nearly ready and would ship them out but hasnt yet. Is this normal?

He did lag on my wheels for a bit, but only a few days. My wheels only needed bend repairs, fully polish, and powder coat rivets. He said it'd take a week but ended up pushing it back to like 2 weeks. This was back when not many knew about them so I don't know if they're busier more than before..

Paolo had my rims for over 2 months now. Said that a full polish, re-barrel, anodized clear would be a month. Btw they got the wrong lip sizes at the 3 week mark. Im starting to think that this dude caters to locals only. I shipped my rims from hawaii. I went to him from all the good reviews Ive but I dont want to givd up my hopes yet.
