True this,

Got back my car from Longo on a warranty repair.

Now there a bunch of scratch and swirls on the hood, top, and trunk.

Surprising the sides are okay.

During one service visit to Longo I requested no wash and the service writer affixed a note to the dash stating so. Car came back unwashed. After that I printed up a small sheet that has "Do not wash" and I tape that to the dash when I've had the car at the dealership. Long ago I recall what one of our member's went through when the wash damaged his wheels.

Other than pricing/discount on services, I don't think it really matters which service rep you sit down with. Once you hand the key over, you're at the mercy of the service tech(s).

I'm not sure if he is still there - last time I was in - I had called and asked to be scheduled with him but when I went in was assigned to another service advisor. But that advisor was nice and did a good job, so no complaints. After 2 visits, I have been happy with Longo so far....

John's still there, he helped me out today. Very easy to work with and accommodated all the specific requests I had for my ISF. Got to watch the whole service from behind the glass in the nice waiting area. Only my first service at Longo but I like it better than Newport Lexus.

Going to revive this old thread. It seems that SA has high turnover, probably because they move up or on to better positions. Anyone use Longo and can recommend someone? I use to use Lexus of BH but the SA that was there left and I'm not liking the people there now. I don't like Lexus of SM either. I don't mind the extra drive. I am due for 60k mile service in my IS-F and I am still weighing the decision on either going to a dealership or a smaller shop.

Not sure what your concerns are but I’ve had good luck with Jennifer Nam. Though past the 5 year mark I start looking for a local independent.

I recommend Jennifer Lew @ Longo Lexus. She's friendly and been a long time employee there. She's helpful, responsive and won't pressure you into anything that she recommends for the car.
