Top Notch Stereo Installtion?
I live in OC (Huntington Beach) and I'm looking for a classy, experienced shop that can install an aftermarket head unit into my SC430.
I'd do it myself but there is no kit available so they'd have to make one. Plus, the motorized wooden door that reveals the stock head unit is part of the radio, and the navigation has a door too that might not work if the radio is removed. I would want them to install a portabl nav in there too, and keep that motorized door too.
Any suggestions for some good shops in OC?

I just called Tommy @ Musicbox. He told me he wouldn't do it: "Nobody changes the stock head unit in that car". Very dissapointed.

I too live in HB, and I drive to tommy at Musicbox. He is about 45 minutes away but the work quality and price is well worth it. Just do a search of musicbox and you will get all the information you need, and additional recommendations.

by far the best shop we have dealt with is Al & Ed's audio in Northridge...
ask for Jay or Eric and tell them Platinum VIP sent you.

no question, the best goes to Creative Car Audio <= and they're in OC too! 
^if HKS USA brings their own demo vehicles to there for clean audio installation, I would too!

Buy the Stereo you want to use, and bring it to Tommy @ musicbox.
I don't think he sell stereo even though I saw a few lying around the place, but he does good install on aftermarket parts. You supply the parts though.
