I've never had anyone put tint of any of my cars except for Lance. Prices are fair, work is awesome (never a gap at the top of the window) and the tint on my ES was still going strong after over 10 years before I sold it recently.

FYI, This can be a DIY:
1. a bucket of warm soap water
2. an expired credit card
3. apply it at the corner, and use your cc to chip away!

Even better if you have a steamer, like the portable suncii steamer (I think that's how it's spelled)... it's easier if you take it off when it's hot, not cold... Generally, places will take it off for I believe $10... CA Tint it's about that price in the 626 area

Not sure if you had your tint done yet but i had my supra done at Campbells and while it was ok I wasn't too impressed, mainly because they dont offer paint for the tint pixels so the tint looked crappy over top of those. Id also recommend Tint Pros but Campbells isnt bad either.

Do you guys know what fims they offer? Im looking for a non-metalic, ceramic tint so my Radar isnt disrupted.

I just called up Tint Pros and their customer service is not very impressive. They wouldnt quote me for Pinacle series ceramic. Plus I couldnt even understand the mexican lady on the other end. She was very rude

Stopped by Tint Plus which offers Pinacle One ceramic tint. Its $410 with the email discount quote. Staff there is very nice.

I called up Campbell's and was on the phone for 15 minutes with the lady. She was very nice and very informative. I will probably stop by and see what the huper optik looks like. Im almost sold with them.

Default Tint film & OC California Tinter

I am considering tinting my new car. Any recommendation on good quality film that will not interfere with the Nav? Also, any recommendations for good tinters in Orange County. I want high quality on both the material and install. Thanks in advance.

I recently got my tint done by Sal in Santa Ana.

His shop is called Perfect Window Tinting.

He's one of three people in LA/OC area that carries Huper Optiks.

I'm extremely happy with the tint. You can't go wrong with Huper Optiks, does an extremely good job in reducing the amount of heat in your car.

As far as the job goes, I have a couple of areas where it still hasn't fully dried yet. So I'm going to give it a couple of more days. Either way, Sal says that if I'm not happy with it, he will rectify the problem.

Quoted me a price of 475. Paid a little less since 3 of my other buddies also got their cars tinted with him. So he gave us a discount.

Default Fyi

I hate to say anthing negative about someone on this site, but want to preserve the integrity of the information disseminated here so that we are all as informed as possible.

I contacted Huper to get a list of dealers in my area. According to Huper's sales rep, Sal is not an authorized dealer, therefore they will not honor the warranty for any of their products that he installs. Having said that, he was very pleasant and informative during our discussion.

Never stated Sal was an authorized Huper Optiks dealer. Merely stated he was one of a few people in socal that offered Huper Optiks.

Just to be clear, my statement about "saying something negative" was in reference to Sal, not you. I assumed you didn't know.
