I think they're targeting older car models, unless you have some serious mods. Have anyone being asked to pull over for exhaust?

I'm pretty sure they are going after older beat up cars more then tuners. I'm not saying they WONT single you out, but i'm sure they aren't mainly going for tuners. And just watch out for the signs like it says on the original Honda tech forum.

So, if you see signs that say "Survey Crew Ahead", make sure to make a detour if you have something to hide under the hood.

I think if you have a license and are on public road they have your consent.

Not just Orange County, it's everywhere. I've seen few down here before. Down by chula Vista area most of the time.

Well for the time being, it seems to be from Orange County on down to S.D County, so far, I haven't seen these guys out in L.A County yet. But I have nothing to worry about since my car is stock.

I see, No wonder this was on a Honda-tech.com...If that's the case, Then most of us here have nothing to worry about since most of us here have RWD cars.

I dont think there is a difference between fwd and rwd when it comes to rollers.

They can inspect RWD cars too, not just FWD. The roller is there so the engine can rev with a load. Much like smog shops, you can smog rwd too. You just happen to pull in more until your rear wheels are on the roller.
