Default Huper Optik or Formula One?

Anyone on here have experience with both brands of ceramic tint? My understanding is that Formula One is cheaper, a little thinner and doesn't do as good of a job for blocking out heat.

Did anyone tint their front windshield as well to reduce heat in the cabin?

I need some suggestions, I'm not sure if Huper Optik is worth the extra money.

depends on how dark u want it.

if u want that clear look go huper cuz it does block out good heat. but they dont offer anything darker than 30% which is considered a light shade

f1 pinnacle goes down to 15% which is considered dark

if u want limo use llumar atx05

I heard Formula One does a decent job of blocking heat. Is there a substantial difference? That is my main concern. That is what I want to know. I'm planning to put a lighter shade of tint.

Just and FYI, huper causes ghosting if they use a heat gun on the film.

I got a quote for $650 OTD to do all my windows (I'm not sure if it includes the sun roof)

and another quote of $400 for F1 Pinnacle. $250 is big price difference, is there that big of a difference of heat blocking?

Did you put the 60% tint on your front windshield or do they have a clear tint?

How noticeable is 60%? Does it affect driving visibility at night? I think I might just get my fronts tinted since thats where most of my heat is coming through right now.

I'm doing it more for heat rejection than looks. Hell, I dont even like having front/dark tints in general, but the summer heat is really killing me even with the AC on. Direct sunlight plus AC gives me headaches. Trying to find the least obvious tint that still offers great solar rejection. If they offer something that looks clear, then I'm golden

I'm with you there. I decided to finally get tint after scorching myself on the leather the other day. My coworker got burned by the metal bracket on the seat belt. I figure if my main goal is heat reduction, HO would be the best pick but it is so pricey. I've good review about F1 as well. Tough decisions. Huper definitely will give you the best heat rejection with the lighter shade of tint.

Does anyone know if it is even legal to tint the front windshield? =] I'll probably still do it anyways because I can't stand this heat!
