Default Dodge Charger California Highway Patrol Just Entered Service?

I was driving on the 5 North yesterday coming home from work and I spotted a black and white CHP Charger for the first time ever pulling someone over. I do almost all of my driving on the 5, 55, and the 22 throughout the week at different times and I have never seen a marked CHP Charger before in Orange County. Just a heads up for everyone

Anaheim has had them for years but I've never seen a CHP Charger. I can't recognize those headlights at night.

We have them up here too...but only some municipalities have them. Kind of a let down, I wouldn't mind getting pulled over by one of those

It's about time CHP gets them. Although I'd prefer to never get pulled over by any cop period. Not a fan of tickets.

I was talking to one of the officers at my work and he said that the cops would rather not drive the Charger around. Anyone who gets it I guess gets pretty annoyed. He was saying they dont have a hemi, takes forever to get to 65mph. I started laughing. Then the interior stuff sucks too I guess. No cup holder and no room to do their reports after a call.
So I guess they're really not that great at all. Haha, you'd think all chargers would be top of the line considering cops drive them! I even asked what happens during high speed chases, and he said it takes forever for them to be able to speed up.
Kinda lame if you ask me!

My City was probably one of the first to have them in their fleet. When I drive by the HQ I don't see anything other than Chargers and Escalades...
