Polo's and jeans were fine. But like you said, no shorts, sandals, or t-shirts. I saw plenty of suits, polos and stuff like that

Arnie Mortons Steakhouse. (if your hungry for some steak) pretty pricey. located on 735 s. figueroa in downtown LA, or Windows in downtown located on 1150 s. olive st. 32nd floor (this will impress your date, best view of downtown LA, not much food though) in downtown LA. make sure you have money for either one. i would say atleast 150.

site for Arnie Mortons : http://www.mortons.com/website/index.html

site for Windows : http://www.windowsla.com/

you can make reservations on opentable.com

seriously though, steak house's are so over-rated. It's too filling and very archaic.

bread and butter, corn, mashed potatoes, french fries, oh ya and of course "mixed vegetables". Thanks but I'll pass.

So many beatiful people working in that area.

When I get a babysitter sometime hopefully by this year, I will take my wife to the Melting Pot in Irvine. I always pass by it and went to one years ago, but I assume it's still a long dinner and nice and relaxing?

There are plenty of other higher $$ places, for the cost, this is a great place. Reservations recommended on weekends.
Thanks for this recommendation. I have not heard of this place until now.

I reallyl enjoyed MASTROS Ocean Club in Newport Beach / Coast. Just be prepared to spend the big bucks on your significant other at this upscale restaurant.
