Default Korean BBQ near OC/Disneyland

Looking for suggestions for a Korean BBQ place near Disneyland-North OC and or close Knotts Berry Farm.

Have been to the Pine Hill BBQ on Knott Ave and is good, wanted to try another place. Cerritos has plenty of Korean places...any picks here? Also must have good A/C in these conditions.

TIA

Sorry, couldnt help you. Pine Hill BBQ is the only one I know of in the area.

your thread did remind me of the dong-chi-mee-kook-soo (sp?) that they have at Gilmok in Cerritos. Damn that would be good on a hot day like this.

I don't remember the cross street but the Lighthouse BBQ is good. I go to the one in Westminster all the time (brookhurst/garden grove blvd) and the one in La Habra/Buena Park is by the same owner. It's on Beach Blvd, somewhere around the Los Coyotes golf course. It's on the east side of Beach.

Ah my two favorite things kbbq and Disneyland. Now if I could just get them to open a kbbq INSIDE Disneyland I'd be in heaven.

One of my favorites is Seoul Garden BBQ Buffet in Tustin. It's about ten minutes away from Disneyland, twenty minutes away from Knotts.

If you want to drive just a little longer, Roland Heights is full of Korean restaurants. Just drive north up Beach Blvd, right on Imperial, and Left on Harbor. You'll end up at a lot of Korean restaurants before you hit the 10 freeway.

Good luck!

You can't go wrong with the small k-town on Garden Grove Blvd. between Brookhurst and Magnolia. Tons of Korean supermarkets, restaurants and BBQ's. I particularly like New Seoul, it's on the south side of GG blvd, about halfway between Brookhurst and Magnolia.

I live about 2 miles from Disnyland, and there's another place we like for BBQ. It is at Brookhurst and Chapman, so a little bit closer than going down to the mini k-town. I don't know the real name of it, but it's got a big sign that says Korean BBQ on it. It is on the SouthEast corner of Brookhurst/Chapman.

I've only been to one korean place on Garden grove blvd. I can't remember the name though It must be the same place that everyone is talking about between brookhurst and magnolia. I think I need to take a drive down there this week.

Shik Do Rak in Garden Grove. I usually go to the one in Koreatown, but their GG location is much larger and a bit cleaner.

Thanks guys! Father-in-law is visiting so we've been taking him to eat at places he doesn't readily get in Japan. The most amusing is a Costco hot dog. We've covered most but the K-BBQ.
