I have the lifetime alignment and I've done way more alignments to justify the cost. They will print out an alignment spec sheet to show you the before and after specs.

Which one do you go to? Do you do it with the same tech every time?
I just read bad experiences from other forums. Im assuming you're lowered with aftermarket rims?

I just find the closest ones and make sure they know how to handle my lowered car. There's a tech who did a good job so I want to ask his name so I can request him next time. What bad experiences did you read about? Yeah, I'm lowered, aftermarket rims, stretched tires, etc.

when I get home I'll link the threads where people complained but basically they had to go back again and again because the tech didnt get it right the first time.

i used to work at firestone down in san diego. The Lifetime Alignment is a VERY GOOD deal. However if you're car is lowered and has aftermarket wheels, one thing to make sure of is to go to a firestone that has the latest alignment machine. The latest machines have longer ramps to accomadate lower cars and are just easier to do alignments on in general.

As far as the technician that will do the work on your car its pretty much up in the air. If you have had a good experience with a certain tech, just ask for him again.

169.99 for a lifetime full of alignments = bomb diggidy deal.

the lifetime alignment is also valid at all firestones nation wide.

I have the lifetime deal with Firestone for $129.99. What you gotta do is be smart and do your due diligence. I called one place and they quoted me $169.99. I then hung up and called another place and they quoted me $149.99. I told the second place that I called so and so place and they quoted me a lower price. The second place asked me how much did place one quote me and I told him $129.99 (I just threw a # out there that I thought was reasonable) and the second place matched that price. Sneaky but I saved $$$!

Since my car is lowered with aftermarket rims, I did have to go to a Firestone location that worked with lowered cars. The tech knew exactly what to do in order to get my car up the ramp. Took some wooden planks and angling but he got it done.

I called this place:

Firestone Complete Auto Care Store
24421 Rockfield Blvd
El Toro, CA 92630
(949) 581-2660

And they gave me the $129.99 deal. Try out my method and see if it works. G'luck!

GoodYear Scher tire in Stanton (near Cypress) also do lifetime alignment for $169. Both my cars are lowered and the technician reviews the spec with you personally before handing you the key. They drive lowered car themselves so they're familiar with optimum specs.

Ask for Tony, the store manager. I just got mine done earlier this week.
