What needs to be done?
Beto's shop is reasonable and the turn-around for the simple bumper sprays we've had, has been quick.

in my experience, Platinum is more affordable, unless you really know Beto's owners.

Though I last used Beto's a couple years ago.

One thing I have noticed by Beto's, I've had 2 LS400's have their front ends painted, one by Beto's, one by Platinum. Both took similar hits from tire treads on the freeways of SoCal. The one painted by Beto's started to flake and large chunks of paint started coming off. The one painted by Platinum was damaged of course, but only had spiderweb cracks, but the paint stayed intact and was not overly noticeable unless you were up close.

From my discussions with multiple shops (not just the guys at Platinum) this is due to improper prep work during initial bumper painting.

Just a full disclosure. Make your own opinion.

thanks for chiming in , guys
i need to get some replicas fitted painted, and installed. so far i'm leaning toward beto because.
1. good reviews here
2. i think it'll have better turn around time than platinum; i think platinum is too popular thus everything takes really long to get done
3. beto is willing to work with fitment issue, whereas platinum is not really willing to.
4. i have crazy schedule thus i need shop to be more flexible and get things soon as possible.

someone correct me if i'm wrong, please

Default Recently got hit in the rear need a good shop>?

Hey Everyone,

I recently got in an accident last week, some lady wasn't paying attention and hit me in the back. No major damage but I need to get my rear bumper repaired (License plate dented my bumper and probably broke a clip because its not flush with the body).

Her insurance accepted liability and I just want to know if there are any good places to go to around SOCAL to get my bumper repaired? Anyone have any recommendations?

A well done job is well worth the drive and you'll be happy the first shot. A bad job takes more time to fix and more driving. The shops suggested in the "mother of" threads, are suggested with repetition and while they are a drive, there is a reason. Good service and the results to match.

Sounds like platinum may be a good choice for me since its only 45 mins away. But unlike most people here its just for a refinish needed from an accident, and not a part to be added or modified like the rest of pepz here.

anyone ever try Fountain Valley Body Works? They were rated best of OC for the past 3 years now.
