Purchasing new Lex soon.
Since escrow on new house is closing tomorrow, my mom will be trading in her '94 ES for GS300 or RX330. Which dealer is the best one to go to? I know I've read a few times to go to Longo, but maybe things have changed since then.

I went through AAA's pre-owned service and it was set-up at my local Cerritos Dealership. Same can be done with Costco, blah-blah... I went through the listing of cars with the pre-set price, test drove a few and was in the finance office shortly thereafter. Prices were within the range I had researched and I chalked up the difference to supporting my city. (It was the sales tax that hurt not the price on the car.)
I'm not a fan of buying at dealerships thankfully my experince at Lexus was pleasant. If you don't mind a drive to Cerritos, I dealt with Desmond. I'm all for saving a few $$ yet I didn't want to turn a car hunt into a drawn out period.
I went in for a GS but they didn't have the color or options and an LS meeting all the rest of my criteria was there.
At Jay's meet, Elizabeth (Longo) gave my wife a card...you can give her a ring. (626) 580-6200

Hiro and I went to Riverside Lexus and bought his 04 GS430. Go there talk to "Internet Sales Manager" I forgot her name but DAMN she was #$*&#(*&$@ !!!!!!! If you do talk to her, make sure to bring my name with GS430 white one, she'll remember !!!
Anyways, we got a good deal......that's my point here.

I recommend Longo. Elizabeth would be the person to contact. Many people including many of the mods and Admins of CL can vouch.
As for Lexus of Riverside, haha...despite the fact they're only 10 mins from where I live, I would never do business with them again.

I was looking online and found a CPO 2k3 GS300 with only 16,491 miles for $33,994 or something. Shouldn't the price be a little higher??? Could there be something wrong with the car (accident or something like it)?
