So my gf and I just grabbed food and walked across the street on Kuhio by Puka Dogs and then we heard a thump! We turned around and some idiot in a red chevy suv had hit a lady crossing the street. Everybody gathered around and the ******* just sped off, thank god someone got his plate number and called the cops and an ambulance. That could've been my gf and I if we had been delayed for 15 secs... Just thought I'd share with you guys.

omg, what kind of person leaves the scene after banging someone with their vehicle? that driver is going to hell!

do you know if the lady was ok? i'm sorry, you had to witness that kind of stuff in hawaii... i feel ashamed...

Wow that's nuts to see while on vacation here, hopefully the lady's alright. Luckily you guys were safe. That's why no matter what, always look both ways before crossing the street or any intersection for that matter. it'll lessen the chances of getting hurt by idiot drivers like that. I hope he gets busted.
