Aloha,

I'm finally getting a Lexus after all these years of drooling at them. I was originally going to get a is250c from California, but Servco has some tight franchise protection here so I couldn't ship a new one here. Finally decided on a 2011 RX350. I'm picking it up this Sunday.

I need some service recommendations. I live in Mililani, and it's a far drive into town for service/maintenance, is there somewhere closer where I can do my oil changes/mile services?

Mahalo!!

Welcome aboard.

AFAIK, the maintenance book shows everything that needs to be done. You can have that done anywhere and get the book signed and dated by an ASE certified facility.

My RX has never been to Servco since day one. Not even the 1st free oil change. My friend does all my servicing at his service station.

i take my car to servco lexus for recalls and free safety checks... if something big needs to be fixed, i'd probably take my car to lxs...

I can't get it serviced at Servco Toyota? Anyone know where I can go on the Leeward side? I refuse to go to the "quicky" oil change service stations, they don't do that great of a job. My previous cars (toyota and hondas) leaked oil until I started taking them to their respective dealerships for oil changes.

You can't sevice your car at a servco toyota dealership. If you want to service your ride, its either you take it to the lexus dealership or as Annalyz suggested, take it to LXS hawaii.

I would make an appointment with LXS...

Oh, I didn't realize LXS was a seperate business. I like the price list a lot better than Servco's. I just picked up my RX tonight, I need to get some seat covers on stat.

I have another question, my new baby needs a car wash. What do you guys do? I really want to get a coat of clay bar done, but I looked up prices on one website and they wanted $400. What did you do for your "first cleaning"?
