Default Took the F-Sport Plunge

Well... I decided to a F-Sport Mod on my IS350C. Mainly in the handling; Shocks, Springs, Sway Bars, and Air Intake (I know it has nothing to do with Handling). I guess the only noticeable part (people looking at my car) will be the lowering of up to 1". Other than that, it is all internal to the driver. Thats me.

Here is a before picture. Sorry the photos are not better, I used my iPhone to take them. I will post after picture when it gets installed this thursday.

imo cancel the fsport springs, put the rest on but then order at the minimum *for a drop* Eibach 250 springs 1.4"f/1"r... Fsport springs are just eibach 350 springs painted blue. If you do go Fsport you'll just end up changing them a few months down the road, the drop is really weaksause. You could always just bypass the spring/shocks and go right to coils too

Yea, I thought about going other brands. However, I decided to go with the F-sports for the warranty purpose and it was meant for the C. I am even letting the Lexus dealer install the parts. After 4 years, I will think about redoing everything to include the tires, wheels, body kits, etc. I am hoping that someone will come out with better super charger or turbo. Although the IS350 and IS350C look similar, apparently they are very different under the skin. I will wait until more mods come out specifically for the C or see more people do it first.

If you see me with my car, try not to give to much of a hard time. I am an old man going through a mid life crisis.

You haven't hit your mid life crisis yet. Mid life is not an age but a realization. It is the realization that you are driving a 4 dr automatic family car and you start reminiscing about the cars you use to own. Are you "reminiscing" yet? When you start a converstation at a local meet, do you start your sentence start with "everything up to now".....

I will have to admit, that darn baby seat my DW makes me keep in the back is messing me up.

Here is my after shot. It is lower but still somewhat high. What did you call it llamaboiz "weak sauce". If it wasn't for my DW, I was planning on putting that on my license plate "wksauce". I will wait when I have to change out the shocks to go to something lower, 4-5 years. However, I do like the way the car handles now. It takes turns like a champ.

The air intake is somewhat of a mystery. I know it increase the HP by a couple (which I do not feel. expected) but what I did not expect is how the car revs up higher before shifting. It could be in my head.... or the dreaded value spring recall.

Thanks Deros for posting pictures your IS350C. I plan to go the same route with my girlfriend IS350C. Can you tell me about how many finger spacing are between the fender and tire?

I hope I will be able to get discount from the dealer with my dads auto shop account and labor should be free. Just wondering if it is worth going the F-Sport route
