Is250 AWD Destroooooooy new tires in 10k ?
Ok , I’m trying to help a buddy /customer of mine. He has a is250 awd first started changing his oil then I noticed his tires were destroyed in the back massive wear inside edges(belts) showing through so he goes to DISCOUNT TIRES & grabs 2 Michelin’s for the rear & continental pro contacts for the front ( because they couldn’t match the rears w/ Michelin’s. So we got new rubber time for the Alignment so at my shop i sweep the car and holy **** I see why it after the tires so adj. rear toe and camber and adjust front toe, My buddy takes the car and I’m changing his oil the 2nd one since new tires and I’m like WTF HAPPENT TO YOUR TIRES!!!! Rear are almost bald just down the center 3 rows of tread like a over inflated tire (@35psi) so that’s not it? And the fronts are wasted inside edge down to belts and rest of tire all cupped like a f-250 that needs upper and lower ball joints? So of course discount tire is putting the blame on me saying maybe I didn’t mount tiresright bad alignment etc? So he gets new front s and I sweep the car again and rear out on l/r tire a little I correct it but the front toe is out by 3,48 and my camber is at -2.5 so here’s my question is I’m at the Max with camber on drivers side still out by 1degree and passenger side green in spec. I correct front toe and drive it. Car drives straight And no pulling. But how can I get more adjustment out of the L/F camber do they offer a eccentric bolt or is it better to change the upper control arms like I see talked about a lot on this site? Thank you in Advance,
