Hello to the Chicago division. I purchased a 1994 ES300 roughly two months ago. I'm hoping to have multiple options as far as obtaining parts and accessories for the ES other than just the dealer. Ebay and the junk yard are options. However, I've never gone to a junkyard in the Chicagoland area. Does anyone know of one worth considering ?

 

what parts are you looking for in particular? aftermarket......replacement?

 

I actually would be interested in both. However, I wouldn't expect a salvage yard to have many aftermarket parts for an ES300. Regardless, I'm trying to gain a little knowledge. Is there anything a Chicagoland Lexus owner should know such as which dealer provides the best service ?

there is a slacker named 1LoudLex around here that has an ES also....maybe he can help you out.

 

i know of a place in elgin called, "Elgin Auto Parts" it is a scrap yard that has nicer cars in it. that is where i got my replacement headlight. I dont know where exactly you live but you can give it a look in the internet and they should have a website..
