Default Cheap ways to make lexus faster

Car is out of warranty. Going to get full brake job, front and back, with rotors done soon, as well as sunroof. I figured why not add some after market stuff.

What are some economical options to add horsepower ? I 've heard cold air intake but not sure if dealer would install. Ideas?

IS350 or IS-F. Anything else you might as well just go and flush your money down the drain with that car.

Sell it for something faster. IS250 is so slow it is actually quite sad. The amount of work it would take to get it to IS350 levels, which still isn't particularly fast, wouldn't be worth it.

I know a few people with modded 250's and its painfully slow, its not worth it, save your money for a faster car..

Thanks for the candid feedback. I suspected a different car may be the answer but figured I'd ask the experts.

Yeah, the AWD version is even more sluggish than the RWD version. The manual trans is better, but the 5spd is only as quick as a 350 if you're lucky

Only way a 250 is going to be as quick as a 350 is if it's missing on a couple of cylinders.
